Chapter History

Established in 1989, the Brampton Chapter was founded by four dynamic women; Claudia Russell-Placenia,  Silvilyn Holt, Jacqueline Maloney and Veronica Lee Edwards who had the vision to recognize the need to serve and address the issues affecting Black women, their families and community.

The Chapter also addresses the challenges faced by the Black youth in our community.  The core programs of the Chapter center around youth and education.  The Brampton Chapter works with any Organization whose purpose and objectives are similar to those of the organization and who share our vision and mission.
